Loss of display

Lost much of my visual display.

I have a warning for low water bottle and the gas.

Missing the middle piece ...

I have just started getting a service due notice, is this connected to it?

You probably turned off the display with the switch on the underside of your wiper control arm.

The service warning is just an odometer count down (10K miles) from your last oil change, if the service reminder was reset.
