Or go cheap functional and ghettotastic...

Paint it flat black and use a couple of mini bungees to secure it from inside.

I'm thinking you could cut the grill at the right points so it would attach right into the holes for the original piece

$187.00 + s/h per side from ECS Tuning but they're guaranteed to fit. Ebay fitment may be a crapshoot.

I tried shokan. They had several wrecked cars. Either the front bumper was trashed (front end wrecks are the most common) or the grills had already fallen out.

If you can find the identical item on eBay or elsewhere, it's half or less Shokan price.
Even though you'd have to be insane or totally misinformed to consider a used cam adjuster, for fun I asked for quote...I found a brand new OEM adjuster for slightly less than their best quote on a USED one!!!!!!
Asked for a quote on an Allroad sunroof cover (headliner part)...I easily found one in perfect condition on eBay at less than half their price..they were asking over 2/3rds (almost 3/4) of brand new retail price!!
Shokan = last ditch desperation.
Shokan = unrepentant rip-offs

Audi A8 fog light grills
After spending a considerable amount of time looking for the passenger side fog light grill for my 2003 D2 A8 L, I decided to retrofit the grills from an A4 (for about $30 for a pair on eBay) and screw those into place instead. They obviously are not a perfect fit and that's why you have to screw them in place. If you don't look too closely, you won't notice that these came from a different car. Funny thing, everything on this particular model costs more and is harder to find. Transmissions, engines and nondescript parts like this for later model A8s (and A4's and A6's for all years) are a dime a dozen. But parts are harder to find for 1997 to 2003 A8's.
