Lower Fog light Grills

Not that I want to start a war between Omarcarbomb and dgcantrelljr, but the pictures that were posted of the front grills are for a 2000 PRE-FACELIFT car. The ones that were requested fit a POST-FACELIFT car.
I know this for a fact because I originally had the pre-facelift lower front bumper and 2-piece foglight grills. I had some front end damage and just upgraded to the Post-facelift lower bumber and one piece foglight grills.
I own a 2000 A8 btw.

Email them and ask for lower shipping, they will not reject you.
Thats still great price, new are over 200$/piece and if they show up on ebay they will be scratched and not new for sure.

Keep an eye on craigslist and look for cars being parted. If you are lucky you can snag one.
I look all the time and plan to hoard a few for myself (in the future) or to sell to you guys and gals

They do "snap" into place but time has caused the "snapping" to no longer hold the grilles in place firmly by its self. What I do, and recommend, is to use a small black zip tie in the upper left corner of the driver's side fog light cover and one in the upper right corner for the passenger's side fog light cover and secure it to the bumper. They will go nowhere.
Takes me no more than 10 minutes to install and secure both fog lights.
Good luck.

The grilles posted by me are Post Face Lift
The "facelift" is considered the style change in 2000 where the bumper got the headlight sprayers builtin (not sticking up), the arm rests got larger, the FM antenna built in (no longer a protruding metal antenna), dropped the small orange side turn signal, the dash buttons changed, AND ....
the new style of fog light grilles I posted (lower part of bumper very different from 1999 to 2000)
That is what the face lift was.
Then in 2001 they changed the fog light grilles while the bumper stayed the same. All they did was make the 2 piece grille a one piece.
I'm not sure what it is about these grilles has inspired people to spout off but at least there is some chatter on this pretty much dead board.
