For me it was new roads
These roads just didn't appear on the NAV at all. There are several areas near me that are growing very rapidly, and with that comes new road construction. These roads are 1-2 years old at most, with more being added. On my display, I would look like I was off-roading.
I can easily see not labellig all the roads from an information overload/usability standpoint, none seems a bit odd.
Interesting observation about the amount of info versus the number of satellites.

Get back here and drive your car. Thats an order! LOL. Having driven the Acura RL Navi, the Audi system seems unnecessarily complicated and less user friendly. By far, the Honda/Acura system is the best and clearest in the industry. Updates are available the first year from Honda, on them, and then subsequent updates are on us. I would assume, although that could be dangerous, that the same is true with Audi.

Complicated interface
This is the first car I've had with a NAV system, so I can learn and enjoy this one without having to compare it to another system. My first impression with the system is favorable, I haven't found it overly complicated (so far). But take that w/ a grain of salt, I only got to test it on one trip, that's not much of a sample.
As for returning home, it's now "we'll evaluate that situation next week". It about like waiting for my car to arrive.

I found that, for me at least, the anticipation of taking delivery was almost greater than taking delivery! So enjoy your "second delivery" and have a safe trip back.

Hey doc, you`re on!! Im in Philly. By the way, I guess you could always do a manual check of the road name using the "crosshairs" method. I believe that your system is probably working o.k.

The "cross-hairs" method works fine...
The "cross-hairs" method always works fine, so I know that the info is there, though not displayed on the street diagrams.
BTW- do you know how to get out of the cross-hairs display? I can't figure it out, and once I've selected it, I am stuck with it.
