More on Defective 2004 Audi A8 L(emon)

I have nothing against the cars personally.....
I still appreciate and admire the Audi product... I ended up trading the S4 in and the dealer that took it made Audi buy the car back after they saw how bad this particular car was. I left in a new A6. So no it wasnt my last Audi. Had Ron Hankley not lied to me I would have had a totally different feeling and most likely would be driving the S6 I was interested in. But unfortunately the situation didnt work that way. After making lease payments for 14 months and only driving the car for 4 of those, I had no other choice.

Drove car yesterday. Approximately 15 miles, with three stops. No "issues" at all. This is the first such day ever for this car.
Now if this would only continue for the next 1,460 days...

Wake up, guys!
If I had shelled out $70k for a super luxury car, it damn well better be PERFECT when I pick it up, and it better not have any problems for a few years at the very least. And if there are **any**
problems in the first thirty days, if the smallest thing doesn't work as it should, then the dealer better accept my return immediately without any BS and figure out how to compensate me for my inconvenience and lost time. It sounds like WALMART provides a higher level of service than Audi, and Audi's long time customers have such low expectations that they gladly accept this kind of customer b*ttf*ck*ng. So I am totally behind you on this, buybeach. You are getting screwed and the only way to make it stop is to scream out at the top of your lungs.
To Xialater and his compatriots: either you are Audi plants or you are such long time Audi/VW customers that you can no longer feel it. Wake up, buddy! Read the J.D. Power vehicle dependability survey or take a look at consumer reports for the past ten years. And then ask yourself why did I pay so much money to a company that has one of the worst quality control problems of any automobile manufacturer? And why did I expect the A8 L to be any different?
