My new Phaeton... is a lot like an Audi A8!
I took delivery of my Luna Blue V8 Phaeton today at 3:30 PM. After a navigation and key fob tutorial, I was off! Home James!
I keep feeling a smile trying to get out, but for the moment I'm driving like a 15 year old on his first journey past the mailbox at the end of the driveway! The car is perfect! The people at YBH did a great detail job on it - and she looks brand, spanking new!
Bertha the nav lady got me home safe 11.5 miles from YBH VW/Audi to sunny downtown Malvern. After a brief sit in the car a little later, it's off to my den to RTFM. Gotta go now - to see if my Phaeton is still there! Ya Hoo!
Now, I need to get me a Ming S8 for fun!

Congrats! As we are both in sales, you are the guy that people say, remember the guy from two years ago, I finally closed the deal.
I am sure you got a great price. Congrats and I will not make fun of you for driving a VW. Maybe you can take it some place to get it pimped up like the new Bentley. The Phaeton could be like the Fiero after it's phased out, like the Fierarri, you can buy the body kit for your Phaetly. Have a great weekend and enjoy your new pimped ride.

Some have said the Phaeton was the testbed for the Bentley. That's OK with me...
The new plate is gonna be PHNTLY.

5,100 lbs yes. But aluminum doors, hood, trunk. Plastic front fenders. Kind of peppy with the big V8 and lower gear ratio than the A8, I think.
Same suspension and similar to MMI control system. We might have some synergy here. I want to mod it some with Audi bits and pieces. Maybe W12 brakes, RS6 wheels. Other stuff tba.

Is that less than an S8? IIRC my dad's is about 5300 lbs.
If so, the Phaeton isn't so bad. I'll look out for your car. Where in Malvern are you? I'm in Summerhill, right near VF park.

Down town in the Borough for now - looking for new digs with more garage space! Work at Coldwell Banker HomeSale, corner of Rt 30 and Paoli Pike in Paoli!
