Need help with snows - will these fit ?
Tried posting in the tire/wheel section & have gotten no feedback there . . . holiday weekend, I suppose.
Taken off a A6 4.2L
225 / 55 / 16 rubber
alloys listed with bolt pattern 5 on 112
the offset is a high +40
??

Tires are too small (sidewall)..
The D2 should use a 225/60/16 in 16" and you have a 225/55/16 which means the speedo will be off (going slower than indicated and putting extra "false" miles on your car). This setup will work other than this issue I believe. I did this sort of thing for one weekend last winter using some 235/45/17 snows from my S4. The wheel gap was huge and they looked ridiculous.
