Nokinan Hakapellitta R's first impression
just mounted up my new winter tires on the stock 18's and so far i have about 300 miles on them and they rock on dry and wet pavement. They are a new tire for Nokinan and i cant wait to get them on snow. Ill keep you guys posted.

Re: Noise
I've been using Hakka RSI and Q models for quite some time now, and I haven't found those to be particularly noisy on dry pavement. The studded versions are louder, but studs haven't been allowed where I've spent my recent winters. The Nokians are more quiet than a good many popular M&S "all season" tires I see on some Audis.

Re: Noise
Agreed. I've had sets on two vehicles and was thrilled. I felt that the grip on wet/dry and snow/ice was the best I have experienced (lifelong Minnesotan).
In addition, was totally satisfied (and surprised) at how quiet they were during summer use.
Finally, I really got a lot of usable miles out of each set - which I was a bit skeptical about achieving given that you can run them all year.
Cheers!
