Nor Cal Dealerships. Who can I trust Carlsen vs Rector?
I live in northern california and I'm looking to purchase a new A8 and was wondering if anyone has any information regarding the sales and service departments of Carlsen and Rector Audi. I want to be able to trust the dealership from whom I purchase the car. Has anyone had any positve or negative experiences that might help me make a decision between these dealerships...
Thanks - jb

Re: Nor Cal Dealerships. Who can I trust Carlsen vs Rector?
My buying experience last night at Rector was horrible, Called up asked them if they had the car, got the price, drove up there and got attitude (guess wearing jeans and polo shirt doesn't say can afford 40k car) but after looking at the car he told me they got $5000 over MSRP take it or leave it. Left it and went to Carlsen to find out the car there had $1200 in damages getting off the truck and they were not getting more in for awhile.

I live in Palo Alto near Carlsen. I purchased mine from Rector's because Carlsen did not want to deal on price and stock was scarce. Carlsen service is terrible. I will be trying the Rector service soon.
