Default Okay, thinking of replacing my car within the next 6-8 months

And what car do I want? I can't really think of anything but one.....

03 S8, the gun metal grey one with the red interior.....

Too bad they are still so darn expensive.....will wait until they tumble some more.

How much could I get for my car? 140K miles, do you think I could get $10K?

Based on what I got for mine, taking into consideration all you've done to yours, and that it's in great condition, I still think $10K would be really tough to get especially in another 6 months.

97 A8s aren't getting much. You'd really have to find the right buyer to max out what you'd get.

Good luck to you.

Default I would think that anyone who knows these cars you would be able to get 10k

for a 97 with the mods, and if the tranny and tb was done. Because you can buy any 97 a8 under 10k but then have to spend another 5k or more to get it right and or fixed...

Yes, it would definitely have to be someone not only looking at book values but knowledgeable.

Default 2nd that, Paul. Your probably better off selling it here ......

I've noticed that Ebay seems not very "mod friendly". Like the dealer, cars seem to go for less when modded as oppose to fully stock. Go to shows (ei: Waterfest) with 4 sale signs on it. Best way to sell a modded car.

I've also been look at the '03 S8s as a 3rd car for the weekends. I luv the black with the caramel. There is also a third Audi Exclusive color. I think it was the Dark Blue with a white leather / black dash and carpet. Good luck!
