Onstar Telematic/Audi phone won't be available until 2003 for TT and A8
Just received the Audi magazine last week and there is an article about the Onstar telematic system. Apparently, the system will not be available in 2002 TTs and A8s. Since the Motorola V60 phone is bundled with the Onstar Telematic, I guess that means the phone and the Onstar Telematic will not be offered in the current A8 and won't be available until the Mk2 A8 comes out.
So if anyone is still waiting for the availability of the V60 for the A8, find a good shop to install an aftermarket system in your car.

When I ordered my S8, the telematics option was on the dealer's sheet as an orderable item. Wonder why not on the A8?
