Default As I read the procedures, the t-belt has to come off to replace the water pump...

So while they are in there I would certainly have it done. That said, she is FOR SALE so perhaps not worth the expense. I personlayy think it would be a great selling point. Check the Audipages procedure (albeit for 32V) and decide from there. BTW what shop do you use? My bro is in the area and he rolls in a D3 A8.

Default Well, it's sort of for sale. If someone wanted to buy it we'd sell but there's really no rush

the new A8 doesn't come until November, and with this he's thinking about just holding onto the car for a little while longer. I agree on the selling point of t-belt job though.

Shops.... well my dad used to be an all-dealer kinda guy but experience has left us with a bad taste. For this he called Paoli Auto Repair; used to take his '85 528e there and I just did 40k service on my Jetta there. When he had a 911 and I had my B5 we would probably call up Performance Automotive in Malvern but they seem to be as expensive or moreso than a dealer, hasn't really been worth it. So we'll see. Any recommendations?
