Gentlemen- thank you for all your help. I got the ecu in and it at least got it running again. I do believe I will need the tcu also. Paulw I understand you have an extra one and I would be interested in talking to you about it. Please drop me an email or call. As for kynz- you have no idea how grateful I am to be out of that gods forsaken toyota yaris I was stuck in- we have sent the balance as agreed. I am so happy for the a8ers on this forum. Thanks

If you dont live far from Bettendorf Iowa I would just as well drive up and pay cash as I have nothing better to do and hate the shifter lights all lit up. It is always worth it for a road trip to meet another enthusiast, or at least I think so. Thanks
