Intake is not normally mounted there. That may be a hack job, but there are beautiful easy to .....
.... mount kits out there. The company that makes the one my friend is planning on buying was in turbo and high tech performance a year or so ago, and they gave it very good reviews.

BTW Nice setup!
This car is made originally by ZAZ. (USSR-ukrain)It was called Zaporoshets.
Originally it had 2 engines!

One 35hp? for drivetrain and one 1-5 hp for the heater.
