Default Pictures from our cross country trek to LA

Sorry it's taken this long to post these, but I sure had fun thinking about how much fun it would be to share them with y'all as soon as I got to LA. Well, here they are. And yes, the 127 MPH pic was taken on the Autobahn, ahem, err, somewhere near Red Logde, MT.

Sure enough, after over 2500 miles my daughter had had enough. After visiting the Hoover Dam, she demanded to drive the rest of the way. Good thing I had a sippy cup full of juice to bribe her with. My next option would have been duct tape.

Anybody ever hear of a Lincoln Zephyr? Well, I hadn't until I saw a few of these out near Vegas.

Now here was a fun part of the trip. We randomly, and I stress this was really pure random luck (not the random luck you tell your wife about in these kind of situations, but real luck), pulled over for lunch in some little town out where practically no man lives. I think it was near the MT/ND boarder on I-90. And they had a rather large car show that day (I'd guess over 200 cars). Well, whaddyaknow! As we were pulling there was a classic tire burnout competition going on. My wife was "thrilled".

Default cool trip, I didnt know lincoln was making the Zephyr again.

I saw the original on the barrett jackson auto auctions. If I remember correctly it was a 1938 with a V-16.
