Are plastic hub centric rings okay? What about 73mm when manufacturer says 73.2?
The local places around here quoted me $20 or $40 for a set of plastic hub centric rings. I've heard it's a big difference to get metal ones? I can't seem to find anyone that has metal ones though, any suggestions? Or should I just go ahead and get the plastic?
They all keep saying there will be no difference if I use 73mm hub centric rings even though the manufacturer (HP Design) says the wheels need 73.2mm. What's your thoughts on that? Thanks!

Maybe 73.2mm is the result of a conversion from Standard to Metric.
In Europe you'll never see a digital thermometer display 0.5 degrees Celcius, but in the USA you do see it because it was converted from Fahrenheit.
I don't know either if 0.2mm difference is critical in this application, but I do know that 0.2mm is mighty small: smaller than a pixel on my laptop's display.
