87 5000s

88 5000s (saved my teenaged son's life)
86 4000 (oldest daughter's 1st car)
96 A6 Avant (oldest daughter's 2nd car, now married to a great guy with an A6 4.2 and soon to buy a Q5)

I know that the Europeans had a very hot version, the Cosworth, one of my buddies was a Scottish Bobbie who knew one of his fellow Bobbies that was killed driving one. My friend said the car was wickedly fast and twitchy at the limit on curves. Still would have been fun to have here.
