have to ditch it. Easy install, but get the mounting brackets for the A8
The phatbox is different size than the CD changer if you can bend sheetmetal you can get it in there. Temporarily you can have it protrude about 1" using the CD changer bracket, but long term get the proper brackets for it.

In theory you don't need to ditch it, in that you can keep both...
...but only one can be hooked up to the head-unit at any given time. So if you can install the PN box in the trunk and split wires you could swap connection between the two, if so you desire.
