I have a 99 A8 with 60k, just got it back from the dealer for the 60k tuneup and now noticed that the rear differential has a slow oil leak. Would this be an easy fix with a simple gasket replacement or is it more likely I am going to have to spend a pretty penny here.

My 1997 A8 had the same problem at 70K miles. Independent mechanic charged $250 to repair (parts and labor). Not cheap, not outrageous.
