wow the car is much tighter now.. got the axel from raxle. If anyone has to do this job the trick to getting the axle out is remove and replace from the shock side. Remove the 2 upper control arms (one bolt). If the bolt breaks like mine did just go to your local hardware place. (mine deals with all kinds of metric bolts, nuts etc) no alignment needed... I can not believe how much of a diff it made to just replace the axle and cv joints. the reason i replaced mine is it had lots of play in the axle.. the outer cv joint was going. boot was good, greas looked good 9 I took the boot off to inspect).. so to everyone out there in audi world check those cv joints and axles..
