Replacing lower front (straight) control arm .... it's stuck!!!
I was able to remove its attachment point at the frame, shock and to the bar that holds the torsion bar in place. However, the part that sticks through the suspension tower is stuck. I've beaten on it like it owes me money and nothing. Also tried to "lever" it out from the support. No dice. Any ideas?

Try this...
