RNS-e, DIS and central locking control module.
On my S8 01 the central locking control module is coded as 16141. First of all this is the first time i noticed a code ending in "1". Could it be the reason the DIS does not get the info from the nav unit? Was anybody able to breakdown the "16141" code and understand how it gets to that number? what is the difference between the Delta radio and the concert radios that make this code change?<ul><li><a href="https://www.audiworld.com/tech/elec39.shtml">https://www.audiworld.com/tech/elec39.shtml</a></li></ul>

Agree but.....
I know that they are not both on the infotainment CAN bus, I just don't understand why the central locking codes change with the radio.
1. why the central locking code ends at "1".
2. The Bose radio was communicating with the DIS but not on the infotainment CAN bus (since there were no can wires behind the radio).
3. Is your code also at 16141?

My central locking code: 16232
I have windows auto up and down, horn honk, auto lock at 15 MPH.
The Bose radio on 00 and 01's talk to the DIS via three wires, clock, data and enable.

Any S8ers know their default central locking code?
Was this the original code? Because if the factory default is 16141 your car should be at 16233. When I searched the forums for 16141 I found a couple of posts of people who posted their vag report which shows the module coded at 16141.
