Road Noise? Tires?
Hello A8 friends,
My and most A8's have 16' or 17' Eagle LS tires mounted from the factory. I starting to think these tires are noisy and harsh. I brought my car for service and the Mitsubishi SUV loaner I got from my dealer was quieter than my 1999 A8. How could the cheapo SUV be much quieter than my A8 at 60+ MPH, could it be the tires? The SUV had Yokahama tires. Has anyone changed their tires and found the ride quieter?<p>John
