It's not coming to usa,might as well not exist
but unfortunately it does and teases us here.
makes me pissed at audi and next year i'll buy
E55 or the new M5 V10.My S8 is sufficient for now
but not so next year with the other offerings giving over 400hp.

I agree. This fact, compounded by the fact that my A8 has turned out to be one of the poorer examples in existence, will force me back to the MB camp next year. I've got my sights on an S500 sport, however, it's not the most practical machine for Michigan winters.

Rumours says it is planned, nothing confimed.
V8 biturbo with 500Hp they say. I think it is a bit early to speculate, it will for sure be based on the next generation S8, which we won't see in Europe before 2003. Maybe RS8 in 2005?
Engine alternatives could be just anything that far ahead, V8 biturbo, V10, W12, who knows. But 500Hp is probably a good figure. Nice and round too! :-)
