is this rubber sunroof weatherstrip supposed to be there?
1997 A8Q. It's come mostly unglued, where the sunroof closes. The yellow glue looks to be somewhat sloppily applied, making me suspect that it's not an original Audi installation. But he profile (shape) is not just some hardware store item. It's glued on, but up off the floor of the sunroof pan. It sits where the sunroof wind deflector would close onto or next to it. I've popped off the wind deflector for a better view. Maybe the former owner had it installed to stop a sunroof wind deflector rattle?
The wind deflector sits to the left (car front) of this rubber weatherstrip.
