Well, I'd heard that VW/AoA had an S8 here for testing, and it looks like that rumor was true.

I went to Pizza Hut for lunch today (yes, I got the buffet ) and as I was coming out, something caught my eye...

A few things to note:

- This S8 had the GPS block on the back, but was NOT equipped with the 'NAV Plus' navigation system.

- The tires were 245/45-18 Potenza RE040s. Why, why, WHY???

- This car had been ABUSED. The sidewalls of the tires were gashed up, the wheels were scratched, etc.

- The interior trim was the same walnut (?) used on the A6. Very nice!

- The transmission was a Tiptronic. Boo hoo (Sorry, Tip fans)
