Default S8 Transmission
I have a 2002 S8, transmission is failing. Can someone recommend a shop in New England (near Boston) that is reputable and experienced?

You can try contacting Tozo on this site and mail it to him. I"m not sure I'd trust a random shop unless they specifically work on ZF Tranny's. There are also a few certified ZF rebuilders you can find online as well.

I here these guys are pretty good on ZF's I haven't used them

I've bought parts from them; they seem knowledgeable. They rebuild and sell rebuilt ZF transmissions.

How many miles on the car?
What kind of miles?
Was the transmission ever serviced? If so what was done and at what miles.
