We've tried with this one, even folded up, it's too thick so I can't close the trunk all the way. I've thought about just getting another stroller, but we've just gone down to 1 income, so things are a little tight now, especially since we alrrady paid $250+ for this stroller.

Did you check if it fit when you first bought it? If it's too late to just return the stroller, wouldn't it be cheaper to take the $250 loss on the car then to take the depreciation hit on the car?
