A quick Internet search shows that it was a 750iL 12 cylinder manual .. the DVD commentary states ..

... that it is one-of-a-kind.

Hmmmm. Interesting. I stand corrected, but in the movie they claimed that the car was a 735.

Actually,there is a 740IL with a 6spd conversion in the US by some ridiculous wealthy guy. I think he raced it in some endurance race. What I meant about the only manual is a production is the 735i

Correct. Although the early 850CSi had a 5.0 V12 and it was the first production car......

with the 6 speed manual ( early 90's).
