BMWho?

A friend changed the settings on my tranny, door locks, radio, and language display. i need to take it in for service and am concerned that if the tech finds out i've tweaked the settings, audi will try to invalidate my 2-year CPO warranty or something nasty like that.

unfortunately, my friend is out of town this weekend. should i reschedule service or go for it? i wouldn't think they notice except that where most cars read

"depress pedal when car is at rest"

mine reads

"beim einlegen einer fahstufe..." (in german --makes it feel like a very european car, but might be a giveaway.)

It's not like you chipped it or anything...quite Frankly, I don't think anybody would notice anyways.

My service advisor commented on my German cluster display - thought it was kinda neat....

HAHAHAH A while back my display suddenly turned Portuguese(Immigrant Audi Techs..hmmmmm); the cheapos at Brookline Audi said it was my doing, or a weak battery; after 80 stealership bucks, I got me my display in DEUTSCH!!!!! Dass ist richtig! Ich habe meine Audi FARTvergnugen! Ich bin aber kein U.N. PANSY!!!
Just a joke, I have German blood/etc, but I am ashamed for all things German aside from Cars and Bier! I now bypass Germany while in Europe, though I enjoy my German display; I don't know how that will affect a future trade in --
