Default Has anyone thought about Vacuum Metalizing

your stock mirrors or grills for that matter? I'm not sure about the durability but I know you can get it done reasonably inexpensively compared to the true metal version.

VM'ing is really popular on toys and such if you're not familiar.

Default I'm thinking of doing that. The next time we have to send a prototype out at work, I think I'll

slip it in! The only downside is driving around with out mirror covers.

Default I've installed mirrors from a 92' 200 on my 97' A8.

They are equal size.

That's what I want to hear. If the price is right, I'm gonna give it a shot.
