Default Slow retracting seatbelt

97 A8. Very slow retracting seat belt. Do you guys have a remedy to fix this or do I need to replace the belt assembly? How hard is it to replace the belt assembly if I need to?

Default Is this in the front?

I had an issue where some of my cell phone wires that i ran for my handsfree kit were interfering with the seatbelt path. I had to pull some slack on the wires as well as some of the stock wires in the center pillar inbetween the front and rear doors. Once i did that the seatbelts retracted normally once again.

Default or, how do you stop the buckle from hitting the pillar and making noise? :-)

My passenger's side belt is clanking on the pillar when going over big bumps and annoys the hell out of me...
