GDJT Allroad^2

my wife testdrove an allroad and she really liked it. The extra cargo room of the wagon would make more sense with dogs and such, and frankly I don't think the A8 has that much legs left. I don't know. Just mulling over thoughts. I know there is TB service soon, it needs the steering and coolant flushed, and it does need a transmission. Not sure what else can go wrong.

The one thing she did notice was a difference in ride. The Allroad felt much more stiff and tight. 40k miles vs. 160k miles, too will always make a difference.

I upgraded the suspension on the A8 to Bilstein shocks but it still has the OEM springs with 160k miles on them. Are those the culprit at this point? Given the control arms (with the exception of the one I replcaed today) are all original equipment....

I want to keep her happy and safe while staying economically sane. She loves the a8 but doesn't trust its reliability. Then again, she'd be thrilled with a 2003 GTI or Prius.

I dont know enough about suspension to give you a resonable answer. but never buy a prius, for I will be forced to cut you off, if I ever see you on the road.

Never liked the Allroad. I'd get an Outback XT Ltd over an Allroad and keep the change

Just stay away from Acceler8 -- I'll block for you. They're neat little cars.
