Default Those bushings look the same as A6/S6 bushings.

I need to see if they're the same part number. There's definitely a PSK/S6 bushing with a larger diameter hole than the stock swaybar bushing's.

Default Paul, do you feel a difference? While you're at it, how much of a difference did the ...

intake and exhaust mods make on the track? Would you pay full freight for those mods?

Default Great write-up; I can imagine that now you're really looking forward to ...

Mid-Ohio in a few weeks :-)

We'll have to install the CarChip data logger in your car and see how it runs. Especially if we're not in the same run group, we'll get a lot of data comparing a more-or-less stock S8 and your A8. With your mods, it's now more of an S8+ in the handling department. Swapping the CarChip between cars only take about 5 seconds.

BTW: Have you looked at the Mid-Ohio video "In the Driver's Seat"? Spending some time with the video can easily save a day of track time getting up to speed. Since the CART driver runs the same 1 min 50 sec laps in an NSX as Don did in my S8 last year, you'll get a good feel for the rhythm of the track ... and what's possible with our cars.

In the Driver's Seat

Default It goes around corners much better

And my car went around corners well before! But on the same off/on ramps that I've taken before many times, I can notice a difference. The car is planted much more firm....doesn't roll as much.

I would like to see it on the same corner as in my sig!

The intake mod didn't do anything that I noticed....the exhaust did, made it feel a little more responsive....but I would do it just for the sound of the exhaust and looks alone!

I took more pics of my exhaust yesterday....am also doing a exhaust page with four seperate exhaust systems....soon!

Default I'm sure you'll find ...

that you now need less trail braking to rotate the car.

BTW: If all else fails, I'll sell you my spare set of Ferodo DS3000 rear pads. This is the S4/S6/S8 FCP541R, but I'm 99% certain that this fits the A8's rear caliper also. I'm sure you'll have no problem finding the Ferodo DS3000 for your 996TT front caliper. If Murphy's Law strikes, though, the fallback would be the Pagid RS14 Black. That was the setup I ran at Road America last year, Pagid RS14 front and Ferodo DS3000 rear; both pads have the same 0.6 cf ... Pagid comparison below,
