I am selling the D2 and after a few years of owning, I bought a lot of parts that will be removed and sold outside of the sale of the car itself. I have (had) the Independent Fog light Mod completed...what's worth more, the OE fog light relay or the modified version that enables the fogs to be on without the headlights/parking lights to be on?

Unless your S8 is completely stock or you're selling it to a purest. Keep the independent fog light mod. I remember when I came from my previous car, that had the independent function, to the S8. I couldn't believe the S8's fog lights would not work independent from the headlights/parking lights.

I've never heard of anyone needing a stock foglight relay so if it were for sale there would be no buyer, thus it has no value.

IMO, the extra amount of money you could make by changing things really isn't worth the time to change it. It's such a small amount either way that I wouldn't even think about changing it from how it is now.

I know the relays are not cheap in OE format...~$50 if I remember correctly...but it always comes to supply and demand...not much demand but I'm in no rush to give anymore away. The car is picked up next week and I just polished it and cleaned it beyond what I bought it as...But we will see. I am not selling the remainder parts until the taillights are out of sight. He will be driving from MT to OR and shouldn't have a single issue...I will have some goodies to sell by July I hope. Brake Block, IGN Air Filter, BNIB IM Actuators, etc...things only enthusiasts would desire...Thanks for your suggestions!
