Is the Solar sunroof worth ordering on my allroad in California??

I have a black interior so I think it is worthwhile. If the interior color is light, probably not. How much is the option? It's probably not something that would help resale much.

Yes. It's a nice gizmo, and it will reduce the inside temperature noticeably.
It will probably not help the resale price much, but it will make the car easier to sell. The solar roof is something many people find "very cool", so they kind of want it. Even up here close to the north pole.

If the car you want, has black elements, get the sunroof !
Not only will the car be cooler, but the next owner can feel justified in purchasing a car with a black int/ext even if this is not what they want.
It makes a 10 to 20 degree diffrence ( depends onthe surface the car is resting on ) compared to a non-solar car.
When this was available on the A6, I sold many cars with black int/ext, when the customer originaly stated that they liked black, but did not want to deal with extra heat issues.
