Sunroof differences: Pre-facelift vs. Facelift
Are there are any notable differences between, say, a 1998 A8 and a 2000 with the solar roof?
I'm trying to figure out what replacement options I have. I need the solar panel, as well as some operating components.
The reason I ask is because a seller on German eBay is offering what I need, but it says for 1999-2003 A8/S8.
Part # is the same. Checked ETKA and found no differences in PN or otherwise.
Anyone know if this panel and parts will fit my 1998?

They look slightly different though. The actual solar "grid" appears to span more of the roof...
on the facelift cars.

I think ETKA is wrong. I'm pretty sure the part numbers are different - I mean they have to be, really...
