Hey d2noob,

Upper spring plate: 8D0-412-065-G (I went with Febi) https://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-D2_S8...nsion/Springs/

Lower spring seat: 8D0-412-103-B (I went with OE from dealer)
Lower spring plate: 4D0-412-107-B (I went with OE from dealer)

The lower spring seat and plate came as one unit, not separate items.

Good luck.

Thanks.

You said the lower spring seat and plate come as one unit but why is there two separate part numbers? According to ETKA there is a part number for both parts as one unit (8D0 412 066 F) but when using this part number on the online parts store it says this part doesn't fit the D2 cars. Also if you use ECS this part number 8D0 412 066 F the plate looks totally different then the part number 8D0 412 103 B.

I got the info/part number from an official D2 parts manual.

Part diagram

Part number

Don't know if my installer just pulled the rubber seat from the part and used the plate from the Bilstein.

Good luck.

I got my new shocks and it comes with the #24 seat. So all I need is the rubber part.

Just curious why no one is mentioning the H&R Coilover Kit? Don't have to slam the car, could if you wanted to. It's a fully ride height adjustable setup. I just bought my 2003 D2 S8 and along with an Intake, Unitronic 1+ tune, and custom 3" exhaust that's what I was thinking about. S Cars are sport touring, so aren't they supposed to handle....

Thoughts, thanks,

P.S. not my first S car......
