I have been struggling trying to get to it.

Ahhh. remove wheels -seats -carpet -entire body then lie on your back
with your feet in the air singing the Australian national anthem [in german] of course.
Then using a steel mesh glove to protect your knuckles turn nut anticlockwise until the hand brake cable is tight -reassemble-test-usually requires several repeat attempts ;-)
Actually he posted pics me thinks back a page or so
and used universal joints in his ratchet setup.
I did mine about two year back but cant remember how.

It is a little tricky since you can't actually "see the nut.
But you know where it is, right in the center just above the drive shaft. So use the extension close your eyes and keep trying. When you do get to the nut, turn it righty tighty.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a8/msgs/174886.phtml">Earlier thread</a></li></ul>
