The purpose of the solar sunroof fan system is to evacuate hot air from
inside the car to outside the car on hot sunny days. It does not provide extra cooling. Mine works great especially when we are in Napa in the summer. Instead of climbing into a 100+ degree car, we climb into a much more comfortable environment.

if you live in hot, sunny cali with 90+, you will appreciate it...
Yes, the seats will be hot, but the air inside is a lot cooler than if the circulation fan doesn't exist. My A6 and my A8 tell me clearly the benefit of the solar sunroof, if it works, that is .... LOL.
