timing belt and oil cooler
When doing the timing belt on a 98 A8, does fixing the coolant leak from the oil cooler add significant labor to the job? With later D3 models it is considerable.
Is there a good video or "How-to" procedure for the oil cooler R & R?

I can't give an answer to "additional time" to the T-belt job, but below is a link to AudiPages on the procedure.

Good luck.

It's a pain in the butt either way. If it needs to be fixed, it's MUCH easier to do it while you have the front of the engine off for the timing belt anyway. I'd hate to tear it all apart again just to do it sometime later.

I paid 352$ for labor to do that with timing belt job, they charge 80$/hr so its 4.4hrs more compared to 7-8h when doing oil cooler only.
