I loosened the ruber elbow and twisted it about 45deg to have the air filter sit nicely inside the box. I am having concerns about the exhaust cooking the MAFS so I'm going to devise some insulation shielding.

cool but why not still keep the 2 cool air feeds hooked up that way youstill have cool outside air

What was the K&amp;N filter part number? I've been wanting to get a Lltek cold air induction kit but this may be a better(cheaper) solution. Keep me updated with your findings. Thanks for the photo.

I think the 32v engines did not have them or something like that.

No, they didn't have them, only the 40 valve motors did

Default I just installed mine inside the box with the cover on
Had to cut the cross brace, but that's it.

I know its a little late, but those cross braces snap out if you wedge a screw driver in the slots!
