King Transmission has agreed to swap out the valve body they bought from a Michigan supplier. It still drops hard into low at stop signs, and has started to shudder a bit upshifting 1-2. All else is fine, including downshifts on highway and absolutely NO hunting. Using 0011, might try 0001 instead after new valve body is installed.

Audi bought a very bad transmission from ZF, and it is too bad there is nothing anyone can do about it.

The tranny was occasionally missing 1st gear when cold before it died the week after my 2nd fluid and filter change. It was coded 00011 and was running great when it was warmed up. Replaced tranny with new audi tranny(not refurb). I also replaced the valve body and I havent had a problem since.

Changed filter and flushed with BG synthetic fluid at 60k. Plan to flush only at 90K with BG fluid again. Works perfectly, knock on wood.
