Default Trying to fix the blinking "trunk open" light on dash board...

I've got the interior trunk panel off and does the latch (4A5-827-505H-01C) itself need changing? What about "switch, micro" (805-959-489) that is listed with latch in parts list? I am assuming both at once, and switch is probably built in?

Default Spot on. The micro-switch inside is pooched, so...

you'll need to replace the trunk latch. As far as I'm aware it isn't possible to just replace the switch.

A few weeks back someone had the same problem. Cured it by doing the above.

Good luck
