usb vs serial vag com
sorry i asked this several weeks ago and the response was so so....
anyone have the USB version of vag com... how does it compare with the serial version?

I have the usb..... NO DIFF
just your preference. If your laptop has both usb and serial.. then no biggie. Nice this with usb is you can plug the vag into your laptop at any time with serial you MAY have to do a hardware search if your laptop is powered up....
