Which VAG-Com Software would be best suitable for Diagnostic and Coding changes for D2? Also where to download from.

I'd start with the free version and a cheap ebay cable...that's all I've got and have recoded my trans and remote door locks with it. Plus have used it for diagnostics extensively. If you decide you need more features, you can up grade (for a price) later.

Thanks, sounds like you've done this several times. I'm planning on recoding mine so that the auto lock feature is active.
