Default Wanted Fog Light Grills for 2001 model

Recently purchased an 2001 S8 (been wanting this model for many years) and it's missing the fog light grills. I don't have much money so a cost with shipping within reason would be appreciated. I live in Nevada 89403. I can pay via PayPal Thank you

I am using A6 grills, 1999-2001, cut and modified to fit (close enough). I think I paid $16 a pair for them on ebay. If you cut off the inboard rim so it's like a comb there you can trim the slats so that the grill fits. You also cut off some of the mounting tabs. Then mount with zipties or what have you. You can also embiggen the hole for the foglight to reduce the shrouding of it, if you care.

I ordered a cheap pair of A6 grills off of Amazon (waiting to receive) but of course would like A8/S8 if I can find them.

Yes the OEM ones are nice if you can find/afford them. Very sturdy. Be sure to ziptie or safety wire them into place.

Well I wouldn't call them. "the holy grail" of parts. Occasionally I run across parts or whole cars for hardly nothing. Even had gotten an 98 A8 parts car for nothing. Had everything on it, just a bad transmission. Also purchased a nice 2000 A8L for only $400. Needed a fuel pump. Later I installed coilovers and D3 wheels. Again swapped from another 99 I had. When people ask hundred of dollars for a piece of plastic I just laugh. It's not like it's a rare Lambo or Ferrari.

Whole car for almost same price their asking for fog light grills. The pump it needed I just pulled from another Audi parts car.

Swapped wheels and suspension over from the 99 A8 to 00 A8L (whole car was only $400). Both of these were good running and driving cars when I sold them with around 150k miles. And yes the interiors were in great condition.
