Went and bought a cheap pair of A6 grills off of Amazon for $16. Trimmed one end to fit. Used a hot glue on one side because the lower bumper was cracked and one screw to wedge in place on the other side. Also painted an old chrome euro plate holder I had and cut some sheet metal to fill in as a plate.

That looks like it's supposed to. Nice work. I have been negotiating with suppliers in Germany and China. Cheapest I got so far was 94 bucks ugh. Might have to do what you did.😀
Pretty easy to just cut and paste. Can't beat A6 grills for only $15-20 a pair from a Chinese supplier. Could probably create an A8/S8 mold from that and tack on some tabs to snap in
