WEBASTO PROBLEM PLEASE HELP
Dear friends
I have one problem and one question.
I have audi a8 d2 2001 2.5 tdi 132kw.
I own the car year and half so far.
The car is equiped with webasto thermo top z/c-d which was not working from the time i boght the car.
Now i decided to see what is happening.Took all apart and discovered that the electronic cover is broken, water entered inside and the circuit board is toasted...
i tryed befor to see the aux heater on vag-com...now i see why it was not able to communicate with that ecu..
so the question is the followig.
if i replace the webasto wit a secon hand unit will it work or not?And must it be facelift or it can be a pre facelift webasto unit?
second question are there any fuses for the webasto?
in the car originaly there was not meny in the instrument cluster for timer settings.i added it bu asdind +2 in the hvac coding.
Some pictures,as 1 image replaces 1000 words.
Any help will be more than apriciated.
Thank you

hi. did you get this issue sorted?
fyi, i just had a second hand thermo top c put into my audi q7 after the ecu went awol on the old one. facelift pre/ facelift don't really matter just make sure the webasto unit is the same and from an audi. i had a 2011 q7 webasto put into my 2008 audi, installed and coded in and so far, by the grace of god all good. I have heat in the car within 5 mins of driving and engine warms up in inside 3 miles of driving so very happy so far.
