Default I have a 2 ton hydraulic jack in the trunk.

Had a bad experience with my factory jack on my 740.

What's an appropriate size? The wheels are stock 16".

Default I tried to put one of my stock 17"s back there and it stuck up..

too high causing the cover to stick up about an inch too high. I decided to pass on carrying it, but I would reconsider for a long trip or out in the boonies.

They do not come painted, they come primed. Have it painted the color of your car Cheers!

Default Mine aren't.

Relatively few A8s came to the U.S. with the 16" polished 5-spokes. Most pre-facelift cars had the 17" "optional" polished 5-spokes.

There's a foam insert you need to pull out.
